Because environmentalists push for tougher drilling regulations onshore in places like the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (also known as ANWR) it forces oil companies to explore deeper offshore drilling which has more risks.

Sarah Palin said recently, "With [environmentalists'] nonsensical efforts to lock up safer drilling areas, all you're doing is outsourcing energy development, which makes us more controlled by foreign countries, less safe, and less prosperous on a dirtier planet. Your hypocrisy is showing. You're not preventing environmental hazards; you're outsourcing them and making drilling more dangerous.

Extreme deep water drilling is not the preferred choice to meet our country's energy needs, but your protests and lawsuits and lies about onshore and shallow water drilling have locked up safer areas. It's catching up with you. The tragic, unprecedented deep water Gulf oil spill proves it."

Get ready for the Obama Cap and Trade Bill coming down the pike in your town as fast as you can say, "Deepwater Horizon Off-Shore Drilling Rig Oil Spill Disaster."
Since oil exploration is a freely traded commodity, Obama feels that it is wrong for other countries to be contracting oil drilling in the United States fields and shipping that petroleum overseas to other countries. So, a further twist to Obama's plan is to confiscate and nationalize all our of oil resources to prevent this from happening. (That will never happen though. Why, that would be like regulating all the wetlands under the EPA to control energy output.) Hmnn, maybe that can happen too? LOL!

Hugo Chavez, where are you? Obama needs an Oil Field Energy Czar to run our new Nationalized Oil Resources Ministry.

The Post-American World was written by Fareed Zakaria who is an editor at Newsweek International, has a regular column in Newsweek, Newsweek International and the Washington Post. He also hosts the weekend CNN program on international affairs, Fareed Zakaria GPS. He was reared Muslim in India but is an American citizen and describes himself as “not a religious guy.”

TRUTH - CONCLUSION
In a 2008 Newsweek article about his book, Zakaria wrote, "The post-American world is naturally an unsettling prospect for Americans, but it should not be. This will not be a world defined by the decline of America but rather the rise of everyone else. It is the result of a series of positive trends that have been progressing over the last 20 years, trends that have created an international climate of unprecedented peace and prosperity."

REAL TRUTH

I'd sure like to know what unprecedented peace and prosperity Zakaria is talking about. Surely it is not about any of the lower and middle class people who are highly educated, highly paid, high living Muslums in Saudia Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, and the entire Arab Emirates societies? Just kidding, I guess the prosperity just hasn't trickled down yet. The only peace one gets is when you die after eking out an existence on earth.

Zakaria's seemingly benign, understandable, sensible assurance that the post-American world should not be seen as disruption to Americans is simply hogwash! Zakaria concludes it is good that American ideals, religion and government based upon the U.S. Constitution be abandoned while everyone else rises. Rises to what? Oppressive, totalitarian Islamic Sharia Laws taking away everyone's personal and civil rights?

EPILOGUE

I do not do blather blogs that dribble on. I endeavor to write just a "slice" of a thought to digest. I believe in this case, a first person experience is important to show what we are up against. It is real, it is imminent and if we stand by and let it happen, then pull out your robes, burkas and Korans!

West should wake up before it is too late.

UK is already a Muslim country. There are more Pakistanis in UK than in UK itself. Initially they encouraged their immigration there saying that since they belonged to the Judea-Christian heritage they would be more easily absorbed. But, no, instead of assimilating themselves they resorted to their ancient ghetto tradition, at least four wives, innumerable children, welfare and unemployment schemes, sending children back to madrassas in Pakistan and receiving them back as full-fledged terrorists, murderers, rapists, bombers, you name it.

I was born in a Muslim family myself in Pakistan in the city of Jhang, but my sisters and mother were raped in front of our own wives, and we were forced to leave Pakistan; we were told by the fanatic Sunni and Shia Muslims that since there was an 'Ahmed' in our names we were heretics, not true Muslims--we were not real Muslims because we respected other religions.

Look at what we Muslims have done to India. Hope, Canada wakes up or will she become conscious after they bring the same havoc to CN Tower as they brought to Twin Towers. In Canada now every Muslim family has at least a dozen children living in a one-room apartment, exploiting the most expensive medical system, gratis, living on welfare scheme, reaping unemployment benefits and spurious disability advantages. Now they want Sharia law in Canada the same way they have in England which they have converted to an underdeveloped country. There are more mosques in Toronto than churches and temples combined.

Several Senators have learned of a plan by the Obama Administration that would provide a mass Amnesty for the nation's 11-18 million illegal aliens with no borders secured or funding approved. Led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), eight Senators addressed a letter to the President asking for answers to questions about a plan that would allow DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano to provide an amnesty if they can't secure enough votes for a bill in the Senate.

The PRESIDENTIAL EXECUTIVE ORDERS are actions typically used in special cases and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but if 60 votes can't be secured in the Senate to pass the proposed Obama mass Amnesty Bill, the Administration WILL just use the discretionary Presidential Executive Order actions as an alternative to circumnavigate, or circumcise as the case may well be, the entire house, senate and people of the United States.

After all, others don't count, as Obama said to the Republicans during the White House meeting during the Obamacare Bill negotiations, "I won." I guess Obama is totally right on that and We the People still lose!

Just a Comparison - Who is going to win over the other?

I need your opinion on which image offends you enough to make you want to do anything in the world to show others it is wrong and not do it again. It is sorta kinda like shar'i law (Islamic Law) where if you get caught stealing, they cut off your right hand. Why the right hand you ask? It's because in the Arab world people always reach for and eat food with their right hand and wipe themselves with their left hand. (FYI: In a dry, hot, waterless desert you just have sand or dirt to wash your hand with, if you get the drift.)

So, is it the famous Danish newspaper editorial cartoon below on Islamic religion showing Muhammed's head as a bomb ready to blow up? It is haraam (forbidden) under shar'i law because it is a sin and transgression. And fear Allaah. Verily, Allaah is severe in punishment. (The cartoonist was eventually murdered for this terrible blasphemy)

Or is it this Comedy Central Cartoon show on Christianity making fun of God, Jesus, the pope and the then President Bush? (No one got murdered though)

Obama Fishing Expedition

Barack Obama is out in Louisiana on a political fishing expedition determined to kick some ass to blame someone and go after some big fish involved in the B.P. Oil Spill area. (Don't pay any attention to those people in the back of the picture who are trying to wade around and clean up their city) Looks like Barack got a good size big mouth bass though! (Great Photo OP!)

To the detriment of the gulf states, Barack Obama has been dragging his feet about granting waivers for the Jones Act to let other countries in and get their clean-up ships in to help. Bush immediately granted these waivers during the Katrina Disaster. The Service Employees International Union’s (SEIU) $61 million investment in Barack Obama looks like it paid off with cabinet appointments and executive orders. Is it any surprise that B.O. wants clean-up to be done by union workers?

Hmnn....... Is this a way to create more jobs? Or payback? By the way, there is no way that the United States has all the technical skill, maritime ships, equipment or people trained to handle this huge spill by itself. Again, Obama is showing his lacking Community Organizer's management skills to handle real world problems.

F.Y.I. on the Jones Act:

Section 27, also known as the Jones Act, deals with cabotage (i.e., coastal shipping) and requires that all goods transported by water between U.S. ports be carried in U.S.-flag ships, constructed in the United States, owned by U.S. citizens, and crewed by U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents. The purpose of the law is to support the U.S. merchant marine industry, but agricultural interests generally oppose it because, they contend, it raises the cost of shipping their goods, making them less competitive with foreign sources.

This saga is starting to read like "The Wizard of Oz" about the Scarecrow who is a Strawman, which is an appropriate description of the Community Organizer and empty suit, B.H. Obama. I guess now he is singing and asking, "If I only had a brain?"

B.H. Obama quickly and deliberately bulldozed over the overwhelmingly large majority of the United States voters to push his very liberal agendas and taxes down their throats with his Federal Bailouts of AIG, General Motors, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac; health care; college tuition subsidy; and has been stumbling and moving so slowly on all of the real voter issues like foreign affairs of Iran, North Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey; the Oil Rig debacle; upcoming taxes like Cap & Trade, Value Added Tax (VAT); and ending the Bush tax cuts for capital gains and passive or unearned income such as on stock sales, home sales and retirement funds.

I think it's about time for that part at the end where the Wicked Witch gets things really moving by asking the Strawman, "How about a little Fire Scarecrow?" and ignites her broomstick to light him on fire. It certainly gets him dancing around, but in the end it accomplished nothing. He still did not have a brain; and in the end, the Scarecrow only got a college diploma. I wonder if it was the same one B.H. Obama got?

It's Milking Time!

The biggest scam is how Democrats shaved some $40 billion off the 10-year price tag for the Medicare doc fix. Instead of extending it through 2014 as in the original Levin bill, the Blue Dog Democrats version extends it only through 2012. Everyone in Washington knows this policy will be extended in future years, or doctors would have to take a 30% pay cut when treating Medicare patients. This is similar to the trickery Democrats used to pretend that ObamaCare would pay for itself.

The Blue Dog Democrats caucus of 54 Members had the power to stop this latest Treasury raid simply by joining with House Republicans. But in three years, the Blue Dog Democrats coalition has not forced Democrats to offset spending with even $1 of cutbacks in other domestic programs—though most agencies have grown by 40% to 50% in two years.

Blue Dog Democrats also claim to be defenders of the "pay as you go" budget rule, but in three years their leaders have declared more than $1 trillion of spending as an "emergency" that avoids that rule. Indiana's Baron Hill, a co-chairman of the Blue Dog Democrats, insisted last year that the caucus could only support the $862 billion stimulus if it was followed up with "statutory paygo." He's still waiting. Paygo in practice is nothing more than a talking point to justify tax increases, and to let the Blue Dog Democrats appear to be fiscal conservatives when they are really big spending enablers.

The political game is to give Mrs. Pelosi as many votes as she needs to pass her priorities, while giving individual Blue Dog Democrats an occasional pass to oppose bills that still become law. Thus 46 Blue Dog Democrats voted for the stimulus, 39 for the 2010 budget, and 28 for ObamaCare. In the weeks ahead, Democrats plan to vote on a $23 billion emergency education bill to rehire 100,000 teachers. That also won't be paid for. There will be a $60 billion emergency supplemental war spending bill, also unpaid for, but the Blue Dog Democrats will undoubtedly provide enough votes to pass both.

The Tom DeLay Republicans lost their majority in part because they lost their way on spending. But since Mrs. Pelosi became speaker in 2007, the national debt has risen by more than $3.5 trillion. Democrats have placed America on a path to borrow an average of $1 trillion a year for the next decade, which is more than was borrowed from 1776 to 2000.

This is the real Blue Dog Democrats fiscal legacy, because Speaker Pelosi couldn't have passed all of this without them. As another election looms, the Blue Dog Democrats are once again rolling out their "fiscal discipline" protective cover, running almost as Republicans as Mark Critz recently did to prevail in Pennsylvania's 12th district.

We'll soon learn if the Blue Dog Democrats can fool enough of the voters one more time. If they do, then as Forrest Gump said, "Stupid is as stupid does." EVERYONE deserves to pay ALL of the tax bills that are passed. I now see why God only gives everyone only 100 years to live. Who would want to see what our society will be like after 2046? Oops, I guess there will be a lot of people still around to pay all of those new taxes! Whew, I won't!

It makes me feel good that I have to feel this downturn in the economy by tightening my belt, cutting back on spending and getting braced for a bunch of new taxes and spending levied next for Federal Health Care, Student Loans, Bailouts for AIG and General Motors and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Cap and Trade Taxes, Gasoline Taxes, funding Greece and green jobs.


Obama, he feels our pain about what we are all suffering and what the people are feeling living near the oil spill.
